MHI:SWADE PDF Out!

Hey folks!

The SWADE PDF went out earlier today! If you didn't get yours, please check your spam for emails from DriveThruRPG containing the discount URL and if you still can't find it, please reach out to [email protected] and we'll get you a new link. 

We made some changes to the document

No matter how eagle-eyed we are, some issues will slip through. All the extra eyes backers will provide is always a huge help (especially when converting between different editions of a ruleset). You can report any grammatical or rules issues through end of day Wednesday (8/14/2019) after which, we will get this to the printer for a final lock! Some of you have already mentioned a few issues and we've written those down.

Anywhere else you report an issue, it might not get captured, so please ensure it's on that link. At 5:00 PM MST Wednesday, we will turn off that link and make the final changes so the printer has the file by Friday and can give us a timeline.

We're reviewing the offset print proofs for final quality! The PDF will also be going out this weekend to you folks via DTRPG email. You'll receive an email to the BackerKit email you provided. All you have to do is click the URL, check out on DTRPG and then download the PDF!

When we do the page proofing, we go page by page, checking the final layout for bleed issues, placement of images, any final typos or errata we need to find, and other issues! It's a time-consuming and attentive process but we're done with our first pass and starting the second!

Update!

The GKG team is back from GenCon and we've got some news. We're gonna keep it to the point:

• The page proofs for the Adventure Edition offset print run arrived. 
• Once we approve them, the printer will give us a timeline with dates, and we'll communicate those to you. There's always some wiggle room in there, but we're on it. 
• When we communicate the dates, we'll also communicate how to update your shipping and verify all that information one last time. 
• The SWADE edition PDF will be out later this week. We're doing some extra hyperlinking on it, so it should be out no later than Friday (Saturday at the worst.) 

All other print items are in the shipping warehouse and ready to go. We're so very close! Pictures of the page proofs tomorrow!

Hey folks!

The Savage Worlds: Adventure Edition changes to Monster Hunter International: Savage are done and the printer is checking over the files. Once they give us the go ahead, we can lock it down and get it out to you in PDF form and to them for printing the offset print run and the deluxe hardcovers! While they're doing their check of the files, we're doing a deep dive through, looking for any old textual artifacts from the previous rules and making sure all the changes are appropriately input and page references remain correct (we added even more new content, so we've just got to double check all that.)

We're anticipating a pretty quick turn around from them, so once they give us the final yes, we'll be able to get you an estimated shipping timeline to you (which because our printer is in the US, should be fairly quick on the turn around.)

The PDF rewards (the Western MHI era and the 80s MHI era) are in progress, as are a slew of Monster Hunter International themed one-sheets for you to use in your adventures. 

We'll have more details about those once the book is accepted by the printer.

Happy Thursday!

With the Savage Worlds: Deluxe POD out to backers, our attention is fully on the SWADE edition and getting it out ASAP. 

We're combing through our rules changes to ensure the following:

• First, we're checking all our rules changes to make sure that we're caught up with any errata or adjustments Pinnacle has issued to the game (there's been a few, so we're wanting to be as accurate and through as possible.)
• Secondly, that we've caught all the rules updates and made sure they're fixed (this includes NPC write-ups, monster statblocks, equipment, etc.)
• Third, revising the SWADE layout based on your feedback, as well as adding more stat-blocks and gear. We want to make sure we didn't break any page references, layout design or more by adjusting things.

Our printer is locked in with dates for printing in July,  so we're heads down on getting all of these tweaks done and through the approval process with Larry as quickly as possible, so the PDF can go out to backers and the printer can get moving. 

The two PDF stretch goal rewards (The 80s and the Western) are underway as well, so we can deliver those!
