Happy Weekend Everyone!

We hope you're having a great weekend and you're getting lots of gaming in. 

The layout, et al. for the two stretch goal expansions set in the Wild West and 80s versions of MHI are done!

We're just tweaking and incorporating Larry's final edits and suggestions and then it'll get sent out. We anticipate it'll be out either next week or the following (depending on final checks and the layout artist's schedule.) 

Because addresses change, we'll give everyone a discount code to use in the GKG webstore, as well as send out a DTRPG redemption code to your KSer messages. This code will be digital. Once the physical POD copies are proofed, we'll pass you codes for those as well so you can add the book to your collection. 

Below you can see the cover mock-up (tweaks are still being made, but this is "close" to final.)

First Three One-Sheets Out! 80s and Western Book in Layout!

Hey everyone!

I hope you had a happy holiday last weekend (if you celebrate Thanksgiving) and are looking forward to the Holiday season!

The first three one-sheets are ready. 

We had a brief delay while we sorted out the best way to distribute them, and we settled on making them free in the Gallant Knight Games webstore so you can check out there and get them easily! It's been long enough that emails have changed and rather than overload our support team - me, Alan - sorting out backer emails, setting them free where you can grab them at your leisure seems easier!

80's/Western Expansion Book

The 80's and Western Expansion book art is done! It's been handed off to lay out and we're just proofing it as the layout artist gets it done. Larry will do a final approval pass and we'll hand it off to backers as soon as he approves it (we figure it'll take a few weeks with the holiday, but we'll keep you updated.)

Hey folks!

Alan here with a quick check in for a status update: 

• Larry has finished reviewing and approved the 80s and Western supplemental text. We made the edits he needed based on his feedback and the art is underway (we're on the colors stage now). We're anticipating having this out to you before the end of the year (I think based on timeline we'll have the PDFs out sooner - like mid-November pending Larry's final sign off on the completed project, with POD at-cost codes to follow pretty quickly.)
• The one-sheets got delayed in layout unfortunately (between sickness, technical issues, and a few other unwelcome surprises), but we're currently on track to have them to you by the end of October (editor is reviewing them now - we had to make some adjustments). 

The GKG team had a cross-country move (my wife has a new exciting job) and coupled with the amount of nuts this year has been, it's been slow going on a lot of things. However, everything is settled and we're going to have this project fully wrapped up by the end of the year! 

Thanks for your patience. 2020 has been a hell of a year in a lot of ways, and we're all figuring out how to adjust. I feel confident we'll hit these goals (my day job has been kind of hectic with covid-19 changes, and covid hit the game industry hard), but we're wrapping everything up so we can start 2021 with no outstanding projects and a slate of fresh and exciting new things!

I am very sorry for the delay, it's been frustrating trying to juggle all of this and I hate being this behind.

Hey everyone!

We're checking in to update you on the progress of the 80s and Western expansion PDFs, as well as the one-sheets!

Long story short, covid-19 has wrecked havoc with production schedules across the board. 

My day job had me working from home unexpectedly and with a dramatic increase in workload, and covid-19 closures in Utah have impacted both Larry's time, as well as the artist (all for different reasons). Our artist doing the new art had to completely rearrange their schedule, as did our layout artist. 

We're past the impact now, we've reorganized our work-flow, and the one-sheets are in layout. We'll be releasing those to you as they come out.

Larry has the Western and 80s text and is going through it for approvals, and we've generated an artlist. Once he approves the text, we'll have him approve the art list. Then we'll get that going and get these out to you ASAP. 

We're also going to compile the 80s and Western products into a single book and provide all backers with a print-on-demand code so you can order yourself a copy. We'll make this code at-cost as a thank you for your patience. You'll just have to pay the printing costs and shipping to DriveThruRPG (this is the same process we did for the Deluxe rulebook.)
